General consideration I
- Symptom
- Both athletic games requires the players to take a half-crouching position. However, their causes of lower back pain are different. The tennis player's repeated actions of shifting from a half-crouching position to the upright position weakens the tendons of the erector muscle group of spine, which supports the body, and this causes lower back pains. A field hockey player, on the other hand, takes half-crouching positions all through a game handling the stick. The player's lower back pain mostly comes from the overload of the muscles required to keep that position.
- Tamatare Remedy
- For a tennis player, Tamatare Remedy cures the lower back pain by recovering the metabolism efficiency of the erector muscles of spine so as to restore the control function of the tendons of the erector muscles of spine. For a field hockey player, Tamatare Remedy cures the lower back pain by recovering the extensibility of the side-bending muscles, while at the same time restoring the metabolism efficiency of the adductor muscles at the lower back.
